Your Wedding should be a unique event that reflects your personalities and styles. As your Wedding Officiant, we are here to ensure that it is memorable in all the ways that you have dreamed about.

Together, we will customize your ceremony in a way that honors your individuality as a couple.

Every wedding with Reverend by Request includes a Personal Customized Script for review prior to your wedding and we offer our services to meet at our home rectory to help develop your ceremony.

classic romance ceremony

The Classic Romance Ceremony is our most popular Wedding Ceremony and you may choose to include any of the following:

*Please Note: This package does not include the Rehearsal Hour, but it may be included for an additional fee.

cultural heritage ceremony

The Cultural Heritage Ceremony includes a specific Cultural Tradition or a Heritage Ceremony into your Wedding including but not limited to:

Holy Communion for the couple
The Lasso and 13 Coins (Las Arras) Ceremonies
The Crowning Ceremony
Sugar and Honey Ceremonies
Jumping the Broom Ceremony
Handfasting Ceremony
Asian Tea Ceremony
Three Cord Ceremony (God’s Knot or Unity Braid)

*Please Note: A Rehearsal with the Minister attending is not included in this Package, but if you would prefer that your Minister does attend, an additional fee will be added to the quoted fee. If you choose to include the Minister at the Rehearsal, he will schedule an hour of time for your Rehearsal to orchestrate the event with all parties included.

elopement ceremony

We also offer an Elopement Ceremony for couples interested in a more private experience. The following steps must be taken in order for us to perform your elopement:

The Ceremony will take place at the Minister’s Home in Johnsburg, Illinois (McHenry County)
A Marriage License from McHenry County must be obtained one (1) day prior to the Elopement
No more than four (4) additional guests will be accommodated
